Cave Shrieker

Little is known of these creatures as they have been found to inhabit just one cave area in Valorn. It is here that these fanged creatures make their home amid Cave Bears and Cave Gnomes.

They are capable of clinging to the very rock and maneuvering in both the darkened areas of the caverns and the blindingly bright crystalline cave. Perhaps their high pitched shriek, from which their name derives, accounts for this ability. Based on their guano and marks on various portions of the cave they are capable of agile maneuvering and perhaps flight.

Individuals running across them have noted the odd variety of items they collect. Able to eat just about anything, sometimes partially digested metal pieces are found within them. They also collect string, presumably for their nests.

Their teeth are long and curved and quite capable of damaging an individual. Occasionally examples of these can be found on the market as Haggie and other merchants pay well for them and subspecies Adventurous is nothing if not aware of the monetary value.

“The what?” (these creatures seem to be little known among members of the Adventurous subgrouping.
